well yes nothing new has happened really since yesterday, like i have the urge to go skating and practice my new found excitement in gliding across the ice.. but nothing else.
but i've been wondering... how do people make friends? we all have friends but how do we get them? how do the distant become so close? do we urge it on or does it occur all so naturally? does the ability to create a friend change when there are other factors involved? what if you really want to be a person's friend.... is the push all to much?
well looking back at my friendship history... lol my first real friend was harpreet. she's an example of a friend who was just meant to be. (like a romantic movie) when we first met we just clicked, and that's all there was too that, all the trimmings came later. then there are those that slowly build from a small hello to a continuous conversation full of laughter and excitement. then there are those where the friendship is hard due to the lack of continuous conversing.. the stuff said between two individuals are so limited, but you're still friends cause when you push into a conversation the flow is effortless.. just needs a little push. there are also those types of friends that are established from the word go, although conversations are loud and circular, empty but fun. they are friends to relax with... but they could also lead to disastrous consequences. then there are those, the people who you want to be your friend, so you put in the work, the miles, the effort, and in the end you look clingy and pathetic... most of the time you lose the person you want to befriend because you don't wanna look too desperate now. but then theres the little break throughs? the keys to the key hole that opens the door into a friends life.... my question is how can we get here from so many different ways?
hearts, li-ming
How we became friends - fate. ;)
